    Hello,
    
    	My name is Richard Robak and I have a customer wo is looking at
    their existing fiber to create an FDDI counter rotating ring; the only
    problem is the distance between 2 buildings exceeds 2K. the following
    lists all the relevant information:
    
    		Fiber:       50/125 micron
    		Dispersion:  400Mhz/K
    		Distance:    2,458.9m
    		Loss:        3.75dB @ 1300nm
    
    Again, I realize it's beyond the specification, but what I want to know
    is if it will work and why or why not.
