From PKO: 

- Take left out of PKO, onto Route 27. Straight through first set of lights.  
- At 2nd set of lights (junction Rte. 62 & 27), take a right onto Waltham St.
  Proceed approx. 1/2 mile to Old Mill Road on left (you will see a sign
  for Maynard Rod and Gun Club).  Follow to the end, club will be on right.

From ZKO:

- 495 South to exit #27 (Stow/Bolton, Route 117)
- Take right onto Route 117 towards Stow
- Route 62 joins Rte 117 in Stow Center.  Stay on 62/117 towards Maynard,
  until they split at traffic light (Mobil station will be in front of you)
- Take left onto Rte 62.  Proceed through Maynard center.  You'll come to a 
  light with McDonald's on your right. Take a right.  
- At next set of lights (junction 62/27) go straight onto Waltham Street.  
  Proceed approx. 1/2 mile or so to Old Mill Road on left (you'll see sign 
  for Maynard Rod & Gun Club).  Follow to the end, club is on right.

Isn't it quicker and more direct to take 495 South to 2 East and take
either the rte 27 or rte 62 exit off of 2 to Maynard? I would think that
495 down to Stow and backtracking to Maynard must add almost 20 minutes
to the trip.

    Taking rte 117 is in some ways a more "obvious" route, but
    it surely is going to take a lot longer, since I-495 heads
    a long way west of Maynard by the time you get to rte-117.
    So I'd recommend the route in .2
