I've seen a couple of replies in here about discussions people have had
with DCU staff. I feel there is a very good discussion that can be had
with DCU staff. I suggest saying the following:

Discuss the fees. When you get the "pat" line about nobody complaining
etc point out that the fees will drive people away, use the fact that
well over half the current members AREN'T relationship members. Then
ask them one or more of the following question:

"Do you think the DCU will need as many staff when it has fewer
    members?"

"You said yourself that there are members making use of free services,
that obviously takes staff time. If those services didn't have to be
delivered the staff wouldn't be needed."

"Are you sure that this isn't just a plan to improve the capital ratio
and reduce expenses by cutting staff?"

"Look what Digital is doing "downsizing", unless the DCU keeps its
current member base (or expands it) I can't see the DCU being able to
    keep all its staff."

I don't consider the above scare tactics. I genuinely believe that
when Chuck succeeded in driving half the members away he'll then prune
    the staff.

I like it! Unfortunately, they closed the semi-convenient branch
I used to deal with, so I don't see human tellers much anymore.
