Tried to use my ATM card today for (possibly) the first time and got a message "This card is not authorized to do transactions". Went to the DCU branch (in PK3; fortunately it was open) where a phone call to hq determined that my card had been deactivated, probably because I hadn't used it in a long time. Question: does anyone know where it says in the fine print that a card that is not used will be 'disusered'? This would have been awfully inconvenient if it had happened on a Sunday in Maine, for example. I can't remember when I used it last. The expiration date on it is June 91. Joan Deaderick

| Joan - Sorry to hear about your problem! But, I am glad you let the
rest of us know about this potential problem. I haven't used my card
but maybe a couple of times. I know what you're saying when you
mention the one time you need it and the system tells you, "Sorry!".

That's when you count on it the most!

Attn: DCU rep., would you please let us know what's happening here?
