| | The first thing you should do is straighten out that Digital
salesperson. He/she should be made to take responsibility for
spreading mis-information about a Digital product.
I'll see if we can get a product manager to help you.

| | I would like to find the comment, about TeamLinks being retired, humorous. In fact, I want
to put the salesman's comment in the category of a Dilbert comic strip statement. It never
ceases to amaze me where people get their MISinformation, AND how they are such excellent
marketeers of such misinformation. On the other hand, if I publish something factual, that
salesperson would never think to reiterate the real 'poop', because it is not startling. Now
that I've vented my frustration.... (THIS REALLY IS MATERIAL FOR A DILBERT ENTRY)
The straight 'poop' is that TeamLinks is alive and well. We will ship TeamLinks V3.0 for
Windows this July. We have closed Phase 0 for TeamLinks V4.0 (our 32-bit TeamLinks
clinet) for Windows. We just held a 3 day Customer Advisory Board meeting with worldwide
attendance. At that meeting, we shared our plans for TeamLinks V4.0 and beyond. I just
returned from DECUS, where I presented the current status of TeamLinks and future plans
for TeamLinks. BTW, we are also planning the next version of TeamLinks Macintosh.
The sad part about inflamatory comments like the one quoted in this note is that it affects
Digital as a company. It is the cause of lost revenue for DIGITAL and possibly even a
onetime happy installed base customer to our competition.
I would appreciate knowing the customer who was given this misinformation, because I would
like to assure him/her that what s/he was told was false.
