    Hi,
    
    I have a customer who would like to know when Teamlinks 2.8 will be
    available (EFT + SSB).  They currently run a smash system consisting of
    MailWorks Server, MS MailDriver for Mailworks and MS-mail clients, but
    are not impressed with this as a mail solution or the MS-Mail clients
    themselves!  They do, however, require full MAPI support since they
    have integrated with another application that requires this.  I believe
    Teamlinks 2.8 will support full MAPI?
    
    So, at least roughly, what are the dates for Teamlinks 2.8?

RE .1 - For questions involving dates, please contact the product manager,
Phil Gabree (TEAMLK::GABREE or Phil Gabree@ZKO).  

For future reference, TeamLinks V2.8 is now V3.0, and yes, it will have
full MAPI support.

The general idea is to ship TeamLinks V3 this summer; the
first EFT would *probably* be in March, but could be later.
Contact Phil Gabree or possibly Margaret Chernewski if the
customer is interested in being a field test site.

By the way, what's a "smash system"?

    Errr, well I was just using this to describe the customers mail system,
    reflecting their opinion of it - which is: not too impressed (read: with
    the client bits!)!!!
