| | My club in Annapolis is doing a BVI charter in November 93. A sister
    club in Michigan is joining us. We are just beginning to fill the
    boats if anyone is interested. The more boats, the lower the price.

    For 1994 I have proposed we do the Whitsundays and have gotten a lot of
    local interest. I just returned from Australia and spent some time in
    the islands and it is an absolutely wonderful area for sailors.

    I picked up brochures from several charter companies in the Airlie
    Beach and Shute Harbor areas if anyone is interested. The rates are in
    AUS$, but easy to convert.

| 1958.5 | how the cruise went Georgia??? | TFH::KTISTAKIS | Mike K. | Wed Feb 24 1993 07:49 | 11 |
| | Well Georgia, What happened with the mega armada cruise.
    You just warmed us up and then left us cold.
    Was the cruise succesfull or was it a bust? Were any Decies in it?
    Would you like to share with us the experience.That will help
    (at least me) with the winter blues.
    That reminds me that during the winter blues this file seems dead
    when we realy need it.Maybe we need a new Chairman like DEC did (just
    kidding Alan)
    Well,when I have some time I will continue the dingy saga with more
    questions so you people can learn something....:^) :^)

| 1958.6 | It was a blast  ............. | RDGENG::BEVAN |  | Wed Feb 24 1993 11:53 | 13 |
| | Georgia is probably too modest to say this but it was *THE* best
	trip I've ever been on. An aweful lot of hardwork from Georgia
	and the gang made the trip. 175 foot of boats, 30 bodies, tons of
	sun and continuous party guaranteed no disappointments. In short,
	if you weren't there you weren't anywhere!
	As for armchair sailing, my armchair goes like a dog upwind.
	Remember what the lady said, "stop dreaming, go sailing".
	Couldn't have put it better myself.
	Count me in for SAIL'94 Georgia.

    (BLUSH) .... it was a good trip. We had wonderful weather and
    good winds. The best part of the trip was the company.

    I will post a trip report here when I get back in the office.
    (i'm traveling (as usual))
