	My wife and I are bareboat chartering a Moorings 38 out
        of St. Lucia during the second half of this month. 

	We do have an overall itinerary planned: sail south as
        quickly as possible to the Tobago Keys, then island hop
        northward through St. Vincent & the Grenadines in time to
        catch the plane back.  And we do have three different
        cruising guides (and a bunch of Imray-Iolaire charts), 
        which we're studying carefully. 

	But we've never been to this area before (we've chartered
        in the Virgin Islands, both U.S. and British) and would
        appreciate any suggestions as to any particularly
        recommended anchorages, restaurants, etc. -- also any
        suggestions on what to avoid or comments on any unusual
        navigational hazards, etc..

	We sailed with some friends retired on their boat a few years back. Went from St Vincent to Union Island and back. (was 1979) We loved the Tobago Keys, anchored between the two islands (bow and stern, a current run thru there) Great diving as you go around the reef. Bequia, just south of St vincent was nice, off the beaten track but a place (Admiralty Bay) where yachts from all over the world gather. (also made Infamous in a book on some assault that occured there in the mid 80's) There was a hotel ashore. The Frangipani, had a great bar and view. Like to hear how the grenadines are now ? Most islands don't get Jumbo jet service (in 79 Barbados, St Lucia, now also Grenada) St Vincent was serviced by LIAT in AVro 748's, the runway ended in town. Bequia, had only ferry service as it was too rugged for an air strip. Union Island had light planes only (Air Martinque,) I would imagine that Mustique is more built up. (some of the British royal folks were going there. Have a good trip. Frank
