I am trying to locate the source for the 1977 Westerbeke 40
service manual (shop manual). I have tried to order one from the
factory and they told me it is not available anymore. Maybe one
of yo haone which I could borrow and make a copy or knowhere I
can buy If you want you can send me a VMS mail on
NEWVAX::KAPUSCINSKI.

Hansen (Hanson ?) Marine in Marblehead MA is the Westerbeke
distributor. They might have it.

I checked with Concordia (in S. Dartmouth, bewar N. Bedford.) They
have one, for the shop (but none to sell). The guy on the
phone said you could probably copy it if you came down.
Their phone # is 508 999-1381.
Good luck! I had to buy the manual for the Westy 7 and it cost
me $35.

Thank you guys for your responses. I was lucky to find rather
old circa 1962 Perkins 4-107 manual locally. The shop let me to
borrow it and make a copy. As to going to Mystic it is a good idea
for a summer cruise if only I can get enough vacation. Once more
thank you for a prompt response.
