| | A SAROCA is a multipurpose boat built in Portsmouth, R.I. by The
Signature Group. It is designed as a compromise for people who
like a variety of water activities: Sailing, Rowing, Paddling,
    Sculling or (horrors!) motoring.

The boat is constructed of Rovel ABS plastic with Fiberglass
reinforcement in high-stress areas (bow, mast step and transom).
Inner and outer hull are bonded together. There are 3 open areas
for carrying people or equipment: bow cockpit, large center cockpit,
and stern cockpit. The bow and stern cockpits can be sealed under
water tight hatches (removeable). All options for the activities
listed above may be installed without modifying the basic boat.
The hull flat bottomed and soft chined. Looking down from above,
the shape is reminiscent of an IOR hull, a modified teardrop.
