Does anybody know of a product that works Plexiglass/Lexan windows
to remove the fine scratches that come with age and salt spray ?
The windows on my boat are very foggy from very fine scratches and
basically only good for letting light in, not seeing out.
If nobody knows a good product for restoring the wondows, does anybody
know somebody who can cut plexiglass/lexan to size ?

I don't know how this would work on Plexiglass/Lexan but it might be worth a try. When I owned a convertible auto with a fogged/scratched rear window, I used Pledge furniture polish on it. It wasn't like new, but it was quite a bit better than it had been. Wayne | |||||

My 25' had thick Lexan hatches that scratched fairly easily. I found
that Dupont Auto Polish followed by a hard pure wax did a nice job.
I think the compounds aimed at "fiberglass" restoration are too
coarse, but since they are not all the same, it may not be true
for all of them.

Try to find some Happich's SEMICROME paste polish. It is available
in some auto supply stores, more likely motorcycle parts/supplies
store. I've had good luck on my fixed plexi ports on my boat (which
weren't that bad) and headlight covers (that were awfull!) on an
Alfa Romeo I used to have. It's great stuff, much finer abrasive
that most polish but seems to still do the trick. It also does a
super job on metal as well (even your finest silver) yet won't scratch.
Plexiglass is probably the toughest job I asked of it, but with
some patience and elbow grease you get a better job than other
