My turn for yet another dumb question. This is for acmsdi v2.2 on windows 95 with microsoft visual c++. Will the examples provided in the installation for ms windows v3.1 work on w95? The installation guide doesn't really say it will, and I'm not sure. If not, are there examples provided with v2.3? Thanks, Jerry

Jerry,
The C samples for Avertz are for Windows 3.1 and are 16 bit. So the
executable should run under Windows 95 as a 16 bit application
providing the ACMS Desktop Windows 3.1 16 bit DLLs are used rather than
the Window 95 DLLs.
There are no 32 bit C++ samples available for
Windows 95 or windows NT. There was I think some 16 bit Avertz code in
the NT directory in the ACMS Desktop V2.2 release, but it was the same
Windows 3.1 SDK based code. The situation did not change for V2.3
except the code was pulled from the NT directory because it did not
work.
/Tom
