| You are right about our two countries being expensive, but all things
are relative, and some things are more expesnive than others. Even so,
Norway has had very low inflation the last few years.
I was in Italy during this Easter, and it became clear that many things
were more expensive there than here (clothing, gasoline(petrol)). I say
this not as a "tourist", but as I stayed with relatives who live there,
in a village in Friuli (North). Food, of course, and wine was cheaper
there (but not, for example, in Venice).
In stead of giving tips, I did a quick "DIR 300-*<return>" command to
NOTES, and looked at some of the more recent topics here that have a
lot of replies that you could read. Here is a short list: 345, 347,
387, 394, 466, 471,... and then I did'nt go furhter. The 345 topic is
from the summer of 1989, so that is still fairly recent. Some of these
topics have MANY replies; some of them with really good info. I
strongly recommend your reading these, then just come back with
questions (or ask questions within the topic, about anything mentioned
in one of that topic's replies).

If you are a member of the "REAL AUTOMOVIL CLUB" you can get a lot of
information from Denmark, as they are a sister organization to the
Danish "FEDERATION OF DANISH MOTORISTS (FDM)", who has several flyers
about, what is worth visiting, hotels etc.
If you are not a member, send me a mail and I will collect what ever I
can find and send it to you.
Re. the weather, we are going into week 5 with 25-28�C and no clouds,
rather unusual in this country. Prehaps it's our reward for not voting
YES to the central bureaucracy, non-democratic European Union. Remember
- politicians are there to serve the people and not to rule the
countries....!
