Send ALL-IN-1 mail to MATKATOIMISTO @FNO. It's our local travel agency
(Suomen Matkatoimisto) and they can tell you the prices of the ferry
rides. And also how log it takes. Remember to buy tax-free liquors from
the ferry - you'll be surprised to the the prices here in Finland and
Sweden :^( .
From Turku to Helsinki it's about 200 kms. Remember that gas/petrol
costs about 4FIM/liter here, so driving is not cheap...
In the beginning of March the roads are still mainly snowy but the
spring is about to start at that time so you may be able to survive
with summer tires (that your car probaly has).

| Snow tyres are mandatory in December, January and February in Finland.

Driving from Helsingborg - Stockholm takes about 6 - 7 hours.
You will only find motorways outside bigger towns, the rest are
highways (one lane with a smaller "overtaking lane" on the inside).
To go from Helsingborg - S�len would probably take about 12 hours,
but I guess it depends on what road you choose to take. I've only
driven Stockholm - S�len and it used to take about 6 hours.
S�len isn't the Alpes when it comes to the slopes....but they do
have snow :-).
