I am planning my Honeymoon to Denmark, Sweden, Norway this summer
but have a few questions about some of the more rural areas out of
Bergen. I will be going to Copenhagen, Stockholm, Silja cruise to
Helsinki , Oslo, Trondheim and Bergen (and locations in between all
    these cities).
The area I am lacking some good personal experience information is north
    of Bergen:

    1) Any comments on places to stay or what to see in Alesund (which I am
    considering spending 2 days)?

2)Same question for Nordfjordeid? (Any information on the Storda to
    Standa ferry?)

    3)Same question for Buverdal (spelling?)

4)Near Gaupne there is supposed to be a glacier walk tour does anybody
    know about this?

5)The road from Revenes-Kaupanger to Aurland is supposed to be
beautiful but somewhat hard to drive, is this true?

6)Can you drive from Flam to Bergen? I see no road on the map just a
train route, my alternative is to take the ferry from Aurland to
Gudvangen and then drive to Bergen.

Thanks for any details or stories of your experiences in that area
    south of Trondheim to Bergen.

| Absolutely see note 124 (starting around 124.27) for scenic routes
between Flam and Bergen. In addition, I, too, recall, as suggested in
.-1, that you can take ferries all the way,

There is at least one route, by the way, that requires you to change
ferries in the middle of the fjord.
