| | Hi Janice,

When someone requests information in this conference, I try not
to let it go unanswered too long. I live outside a 50-mile radius
from Boston and rarely go out to eat, so I'm far from the best
    qualified to help you.

Nevertheless, I do note that the Westin Hotel on Copley Place has run
an ad in Gult och Bltt announcing that their Brasserie Restaurant will
be featuring Scandinavian food for the month of March. They are on the
corner of Dartmouth Street, 10 Huntington Avenue. Tel. 617-262-9600.
Also Swenson's Bakery on 409 High Plain Street in Walpole (617-668-9850)
    has a small restaurant attached.

You might also inquire in the restaurant conference, TGIF::EATS,
and the regional conference, DELNI::BOSTON. [Perhaps you already
    have done that?]

| | Im trying to get the name of a restaurant in Helsinki. I have a friend
visiting there and wanted to recommend it but cant remember the
name or address. So if any Finns recognise this description and
    can help Id be obliged.

Starting in the area of the Presidenti Hotel, its about a 7 to 8 min walk
going south, past the bus station towards the area of Annasvagen
(Annankatu), and its on the west side of Mannerheimvagen (Mannerheimintie).
As I recall its down a street on a short but fairly steep incline (not
quite long enough to be a hill). It has the symbol of a dogs head, similar
to a bulldog or a St Bernard (Bernhandilaiskoira) on the menus and the
billboard outside. Inside its a restaurant at one end with a bar and
(possibly) a small dance floor at the other, with a red decor inside.

As far as Im concerned its got the best garlic dish (chicken) Ive come
across, and would be grateful if anyone can recognise it.
    Thanks
    Kiitos paljon
    Andy Perrett
