Real Curious here about 4GLs.
It's been 4 years since the last reply to note 103 which talks about
high-level languages & 4GL. Seems to me that these past years have been of
little note when it comes to 4GLs. I suppose DECdecision is a 4GL - but no
inovations in the industry have occured.
Was 4GL a "flash-in-the-pan" that has faded into the Ho-hum?
Are there new developments coming to 4GLs in the industry?
Has OOP overshadowed 4GLs?
