| 210.1 | translate into Ada | COMICS::DEMORGAN | Richard De Morgan, UK CSC | Wed Nov 02 1988 11:08 | 7 |
| | Probably the best idea is to translate it into Ada. RTL/2 put quite
    a lot of input into Ada (the author of RTL/2, John Barnes, contributed
    significantly to Ada development). I don't know of an RTL/2
    implementation on VAX. If you want a more informed opinion (there
    may be tools already available to do the translation), I suggest
    you contact John. He is MD of Alsys in Henley - phone number is
    0491-579090.

| 210.2 | Two issues | COMICS::DEMORGAN | Richard De Morgan, UK CSC | Wed Nov 02 1988 11:10 | 2 |
| | BTW - two issues: RTL/2 I/O is very simple. It is also has a fractional
    type - that might pose a problem.

| | Just to keep this note up to date.

    There are two companies in the UK who specialise in RTL/2 and migrating
    PDP users to VAX RTL/2. These are...

    Real Time Consultants of Leamington - 0926 450858

    SD-SCICON - 0276 686200
    They both supply their own compilers and consultancy
