940.0. "4.0-36 especially relevant fixes" by TLE::BRETT () Thu May 01 1997 07:42
Note 2.99 announces ladebug 4.0-36.
There are some fixes in this release of special interest to our regular
readers :-)
o When the Browse Source dialog box was used to set breakpoints in
program routines, the debugger was unable to set breakpoints in
routines that were written in programming languages other than
the language in which the main routine was written. This
problem has been fixed. (DECL 841)
o The "printf" debugger command has been enhanced to print floating
point values in hexadecimal and octal radices. (This feature is
most conveniently accessed via the "px" and "po" debugger
aliases.) The floating point values may come either from program
variables or the floating registers. There are two restrictions
with this enhancement: 1) long double and Fortran REAL*16 values
cannot be printed, and 2) any length modifiers specified in format
string conversion specifications are ignored. (DECL 741)
o Several problems with enumeration support in the debugger have
been fixed. (QAR 23147, 49458, 49447, 50389; DECL 792, 794)
