This is reproducible with the latest development compiler on AlphaVMS. VAXVMS seems to produce the expected result. I have reported this in our internal bug tracking system. Thanks for reporting it and sorry about the delay in response. -Jeff | |||||

Jim,
We have corrected this problem in our internal compiler sources.
The fix should be included in the release of DEC C *after* V5.6.
