|  |     there are all kinds of 'cream' pies -- banana, lemon, etc.  When you
    say cream do you mean just a dairy cream pie?  I have a couple 
    Amish cookbooks ... I'll take a look there ...

|  |     This isn't Amish, but my mother-in-law used to make a pie using premade
    graham cracker crust, no-cook pudding and cool whip.  It wasn't too
    bad.

|  |     I'll try 2548.11, but that appears to be something to be
    used with other ingredients, like bananas, etc
    
    The no-bake cream pie I had was extremely rich and quite
    firm.  The waitress did say it was cooked on top of the
    stove, but couldn't provide any other information.
