Does anyone know of a good source to buy a large stock pot from? I'm looking for a 30-quart size or larger, and all of the stores I've looked at seem to only go up to 18-quart. It's canning season and I've been making a lot of tomato sauce and apple sauce in too small a stock pot (22-qt). Just a little more height on the sides would prevent a lot of the present boil-over and splatter hassles. It would also eliminate having to use two pots per batch. I finished the third batch at 4AM last night!! I think there are only enough tomatoes out in the garden for one more batch, so this is more or less a purchase for next year (if there are any seasonal sales I can wait for). Someone once mentioned a shop in Waltham that catered to commercial chefs which sold items for good prices. Anyone remember the name? -Erik

| Try Sam's Club. The one in Westboro, MA has a big section w/
commercial cookware (can't vouch for the quality, but there are a lot
    of items to choose from).

| If you were in colorado springs, I would suggest Surplus City or
Schocks hardware both in Old Colorado City. they have granite-ware 33
qt canners. we use tem for wort boilers, or occaisionally Lobstah
    cookers.
