| I too will be leaving DEC, thanks to SERP, and this is the notesfile that I
will definitely miss the most! I've contributed some, over the years, but
I've gotten from COOKS much more than I've given - thank you all!

| I just heard today that Friday will be my last day.
I'm sad to leave everyone here. The friends I've made over the
last 11 years, in person and through notes, I will miss greatly.
I hope I'll be able to keep in touch with at least some of you.
I'll also miss the openness of the culture here, even lately.
Though the stress of the past two years is something I'll shed
with relief.
I hope those who stay can get through these next months and bring
this company around. I really hope things get better and less tense.
This notesfile has been fun to participate in, reading all the
different viewpoints and the silly bits. Thank you all for the notes
and mail messages, the advice and the laughs, and the wonderful
recipes. Now I'll have time to try them!
If any of you are in the Merrimack NH area, I love giving garden
tours. I'm in the phonebook under Aitel-Swanson... if you don't
get an answer or a machine you've dialed the data line. ;-)

I am leaving Digital after 18 years. I met a lot of people
during that time both in person and through these notes. This is
