I did a dir/title=belguim and came up empty handed. I would like
to cook a Belguim dinner for my parents. Does anyone have any recipes
for soup, appetizer, main course, and dessert that's from Belguim?
Also, what type of wine should I serve with it?

| I don't know if it will help, but you can try BELGIAN or BELGIUM
    instead of BELGUIM.

| Start your Belgian meal off with Moule Fraise, a kind of mussels stew
with redwine, tomatoes and garlic. It is a very popular starter course in Brussels.
Main course could be Carbonara of Beef, a nice thick chunky piece of good
beef, smothered in a rich sauce, not a gravy, made from reduced beef
stock and mushrooms, and served with boiled potatoes.(served to my wife
and I at the Armes d'Bruxelle, in Brussels)
Nice belgian red wine to go with it. Serve a light green salad, with
a vinaigrette, and finish the meal with a piece of pastry filled with
ice cream, and covered with chocolate sauce.(I can't remember the name
of the dessert, but it was delicious. tk

| The dessert you are referring to is probably Profiterolles (sp?) | |||||

Thanks for some ideas. I don't like mussels, so that dish is out.
    But the beef sounds good.
