      Does anyone have any input on drying fruits ??
    
      I've got a bunch of apples that I'ld like to dry.

|     Either by using a "dehydrator", as advertised for $59.95 on tv or
    through a kitchen store, or I would think, by coring your fruit, and
    using a cuisinart (or similar contraption that would uniformely slice
    thin) slice the apple into fairly thin slices.  Lay it out single layer
    on a screen (like the ones you see for grilling) and set it on the
    racks in your oven, set at maybe 200.  It may take a day or so....
