    Does anyone have the recipe for American Indian Fry bread? Plus any

recipe at home, will try and remember it....one thing I know "fer sure" is
that it tastes best when fried in lard...yes, I know, my arteries yell at
me too when I eat this stuff, but sometimes you gotta live dangerously. 8^}

|     Well here it is finally. Hope you enjoy it!!!!
    4 1/2 c. flour                 1 tbap. soda
    2 tbsp. powdered milk          1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. warm water
    Mix and let stand 30 minutes.Roll to about 1/8 inch thick on lightly
    floured board. Cut into any shape desired.Fry in deep fat(lard) at
    400-450 degrees until crisp.
    The following may be added to the dough: 1Tbsp. cayenne pepper,or 2
    tbsp. chili powder and 1 cup chopped onions.
