    I am looking for a recipe for coconut custard pie. I checked
    keyword=custard but found none. Anybody got one or an idea
    how much coconut to add to a regular custard and when (before
    or during cooking) ?

    Thanks!

| 2656.1 | 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp coconut | CSC32::R_GROVER | The CIRCUIT_MAN | Fri Oct 05 1990 17:41 | 9 |
| I usually stir 1/4 cup of coconut into the mixture for a regular
    custard pie recipe before cooking... and save out 1 tbsp coconut
    to sprinkle on top once the pie is cooked, but before it cools
    completely.

    Hope this helps a bit..!

| 2656.3 | Frugal Gourmet's Artichoke Recipe | BIZNIS::MARINER | Wed Nov 14 1990 12:41 | 14 | |
| I'm looking for a recipe which I copied from one of the Frugal
    Gourmet's shows and have lost.

    He sauteed artichoke hearts in wine. That's about all I can remember.
    I believe they were raw, he cut off most of the outer leaves, peeled
    the stems, took the choke out, sliced them up and cooked them in wine.
    They were delicious. Cold be used as a first course or vegetable.

    I have no idea what cookbook they would be in and besides I'm too cheap
    to buy the book. Does anyone know what I am talking about?

    Thanks,

    Mary Lou
