I like the vodka idea and have an added twist. Take the resulting
vodka from hell and put it in the freezer (I've done this with regular
vodka). It won't freeze. Then try doing shots of it. The combination of
icy cold liquid with firey aftertaste would be a very strange
sensation.

Snowshoes - mix equal amounts of Wild Turkey and Peppermint Schnapps
and keep in the freezer for shooters. Nice quick mellow buzz, good for
parties and special occasions!

that vodka idea would certainly clean out the old sinuses....it's kinda the concept behind pepper vodka, isn't it. Now, approx. 30 jalepenas would just fix up a fifth of vodka real nice......

In Louisiana, the same basic concept with cayenne peppers and gin makes the prime ingredient in a Cajun martini. --PSW

Yes, this makes the BEST bloody marys and the best Vodka Cajun Martinis
you will EVER have. No need to add tabasco or horseadish to the
bloodys!! And a much cheaper method than the commercial brands of
pepper vodka (Stolis, etc). Must be kept in the freezer, as all
cherished vodka is!!

Gee, I made it into the cooks file????
Anyhow, if anyone's interested, I made up a 5th of "Vodka From Hell",
by taking about 1 cup of chopped tai peppers and letting them steep
in the vodka overnight. Yes, just overnight.
The resulting mixture was, without a doubt, the hottest thing I've
ever put in my mouth, save a fresh habenero.
...could easily be cut 10 or 20 to 1.
