Another great tip from the Frugal Gourmet!

If you plan on cooking with anchovies, let them soak in 1/2 cup MILK
for 1 hour before using! This drains the saltiness and a little of the 
harsh fish taste, leaving you with a nice anchovy flavor without too
much bite.

	My cats never have the runs. They get cows milk often. ed
