I saw a brief tidbit on TV last night called "Kerr's Kitchen" or
something like that .. I only caught the last minute or so of the
spot, but he looked like the long lost Galloping Gourmet. Remember
him ? Does anyone know if the GG was indeed named Kerr ? I'm almost
positive this was him, but my wife disagrees.

Update on the Galloping Gourmet: For a while, he was just doing
one-minute "food tips" or some such thing, but now he has a half-hour
show on every weekday - I believe it's at 11:30 AM, on (in the Boston
area) channel 56. I've only caught one (keep forgetting to set the
VCR), but he looked like his old self, just as manic and gleeful as
ever. These days, though, he's being more health-conscious, and has
given up the wine-bibbing. In the show I saw, he concocted a flavorful
soup of some kind, and then compared it to various canned varieties for
fat, sodium, and cholesterol content (his won, of course).
It's good to see him back, but I declare, it tires me out just watching
him!
