2298.0. "GAME:  Trimmings?" by RUTILE::WATTINNE () Wed Mar 14 1990 05:19
    An easy and "original" recipe of trimmings for: game, guinea-fowl,
    young turkey, and so on...

    Quantity for 2/3 persons

    6 Apples (different varieties)
    2 Juniper-berries
    cinnamon
    1 clove
    mixed spices
    pepper
    water

    Cut the apples in big quarters. Put them in a pan with a little
    bit of water, and, add all the ingredients.

    Let them reduce (cook very slowly) but the result must NOT be mash!

    I am still trying to translate some of my other recipes...

|  |     Anne,

    In France, we can buy them in a super market or in shop specialised
    in spices/herbs.

    I hope that somebodyelse will help you to find them...
