| | There's a kitchen store in the Peasant Lane Mall in Nashua, on the
lower level. I bought my salt and pepper grinders there. They
    had the salt in chunks.

I don't remember the name of the store, but it's more of a gourmet
type kitchen store. I just remember it's on the lowere lever, on
the left if you're walking away from Lechmere's, probably around
    the half way point.

| | I, also, have a salt mill and could never find the rock salt to
put in it. I finally found some in Acton at Idlewilde Farm. I'm
surprised that you would not have tried there. They have a lot
of good spices and different kinds of gourmet-type items.

| | I think you want sea salt, most of the rock salt that I have used
is not as clear and white as sea salt which looks more appetizing
    in a grinder.

| | re .4 - yes, you want sea salt. Some rock salt is not even NaCl(!)
and is generally used for salting sidewalks and streets,
            and in ice-cream makers.

If you live near Acton, and are looking for something
unusual, there are three places which generally have
            everything: Idylwilde Farms; Joyce Chen (on Rt 2A);
and Concord Spice and Grain (in Concord on Depot St.)
