| | I make deep fried mushies all the time and it is very easy.

Lots of nice big, nicely formed (with stem left on) cleaned mushrooms
(I always use nice big fresh white ones) make sure they are very
    dry after cleaning.

About a cup of fine breadcrumbs (I use whole wheat from preference
really makes no difference from the taste angle)

Season the bread crumbs with several dashes of 'Dash', Parmesan
cheese, salt and pepper and a pinch of mixed herbs.

Place seasoned breadcrumbs in one bowl and beat an egg and about
a 1/4 cup of milk and place in another bowl.

Dip mushrooms in egg/milk then in crumbs until you have them all
well coated. Drop into pre-heated oil (make sure it is good and
hot or mushrooms will be soggy) and fry briefly until a nice golden
colour. You can shake the wet mushrooms ie. after dipping in egg/milk
in a bag with the bread crumbs but I find this wasteful as it requires
more crumbs than rolling them does.. results though are almost
    identical.

I serve these with garlic mayonnaise made by blending lots of minced
mushed garlic with mayonnaise with added dash of lemon juice and
    paprika.
