I have a recipe for all of you, (since I've taken great advantage
of this file). This is especially good if you have young teenagers,
and it is very quick and easy....
"K Bars"
1 cup lite corn syrup
1 cup sugar
Put these in a sauce pan, stir over heat till it boils.
Add 11 and one half ounces of crunchy peanut butter and
1 small box or 4 cups of Special K cereal. Stir and remove from
heat. Mix well.
Butter 9x13 pan, spread mixture evenly. Top with 12 ounces chocolate
chips. Heat in oven at 200 degrees for 5 minutes. Remove from
oven and spread melted chips to cover top. Let cool. Cut into
squares while still warm.
I made these at school and they were a big hit!!! Even got me a
proposal. Am planning on sending to a special friend, they travel
well!!!
Enjoy,
Vicki
