This is easy, tasty, keeps well in crockpot for parties or the
Superbowl (go Browns!)
two & a half pound rump roast
one 14 oz. bottle ketchup, plus one bottle of water
2 or 3 minced garlic cloves
2 or 3 chopped onions
one third cup Worchestershire sauce
one fourth cup cider vinegar
two tablespoons brown sugar
two teaspoons dry mustard
Put all this together in Dutch oven or equivalent and simmer for
about 6 hours, adding water as necessary. Meat just falls apart
and makes terrific sandwiches. If necessary, can microwave or pressure
cooker the meat for a while first to speed things up. This last
time, used half beef and half pork - yum!

This works well with turkey tenderloins, too! I used two packages
of Turkey Store Breast Tenderloins that equalled 2.5 pounds. It
took a lot less time to trim the meat before cooking, and less time
to cook. Skeptics in your crowd will still feel like they are
eating a barbeque sandwich, but it's only 100 calories and 1 gram
of fat per 3.5 ounces of turkey (according to the label), so it
fits in my 10% fat diet!

I made this recipe last Saturday with a 2.4lb Eye Round Roast. It came
out very good.
Thanks for the recipe,
