| | COMSTOCK fruit in a can is canned pie filling. COMSTOCK is the
brand; I'm sure other brands would work fine.

    1. what is "COMSTOCK" fruit in a can ?

Comstock fruit is a allready seasoned fruit say you were making
an apple pie. wou would have to cook the apples add cimminnon.
well comstock (brand name) has already done all this. you nac hind
it in the baking section of store.

    2. Just sprinkle cake mix on top ?

YES that's what's makes it so easy. the first few times I dident
understand that either. but the butter as it melts through the cake
mix moistens enough to actually cook the cake. you'll see. your
    going to love it.

I have tried this with apple, blueberry, blackberry, cerry pie mixes
    my family loves it..

Let me know how it comes out.

Remenber let it cook long enough for the cake mix to complete cooking
about 45 min give or take a few min.

| | I also have this recipe and it is a great hit. Very simple
to make. I use a 9 X 13" pan put crushed pineapple on the
bottom, a layer of cherry pie filing (usually use 2 cans as
1 can has very few cherries in it) then sprinkle on the
cake mix. I use the margarine that has part margarine and
part butter to keep the cholesterol level down.

Here is a quick, simple but very yummie dessert!

    2 bananas.
    half pint Greek yougurt.
pure maple syrup. (not maple flavored syrup.)

Slice the bananas and put them in the bottom of 4 dessert dishes, spoon
the Greek yougurt generously over the bananas and carefully pour the
maple syrup over the yougurt to make a layered effect.

Like I said really simple but delicious!!
