I wasn't sure if this should go into Flex or Veg. So i'll put it in
here and see how many people get mad and yell that it should be in
Flex.
I am a struggling vegetarian. I don't know enough about breaking my
calories into proteins, carbs, and fats. Or about getting a high carb,
low carb, high protein, low protein diet. I don't know which I should
be doing. I'm trying to get in everything I need w/ non-meat. Everyone
says C.Bailey is right, that if you want big muscles you have to be a
meat and potatoes eater. If you just want muscles be a veg. I don't
want BIG muscles, I do want muscles. I just want to fit in everything
my body needs w/out eating meat.
So if there is an educated veg. out there who doesn't mind taking the
time to help me i'd appreciate it.

Gazette:
Vegetarian cooking
Anyone can eat vegetarian - part-time or all of the time. It's just a
matter of knowing how. Pleasant Street Seventh-day Adventist Church
and Friends is sponsoring an International Vegetarian Cooking School
from 7 to 9p.m. Monday at 370 Pleasant St., Worcester. To register,
call 797-5009. The registration fee, which can be paid at the door, is
$7. A registered dietitian will talk about how to eat a balanced
vegetarian diet.

Just do it. All this balanced protien nonsense is part of the anti
vegetarian stance taken by the meat industry. We were almost
completely vegetarian for thousands of years in our past and we made it
to here.
Sure some vegetarians do have trouble, but your not going on a 100%
chip diet are you?
You almost certainly don't need all the stuff the dietry suppliment
industry want you to have either. (Another bunch after your money.)
I think that courses similar to .1 can be great fun and a chance to
pick up tips on all sorts of things, e.g. making the veggie diet less
boring.
Keep enjoying those sprouting protien sources,
R. Michael
