Aye, but after his lawyers have lodged an appeal, how many of us
reckon he'll end up doing bird? He may have previous convictions for
assault but I reckon an appeal will be lodged on the basis that this
offence took place on a football field and not a public place.

I don't think he'll get off with an appeal, especially now that it's
the close season.
