In light of Gary Spain's departure, we are now down to two moderators,
Dez Cassidy and JF Champollion. I would like to put myself forward for the
position of the third moderator. I am posting this note here to guage the
amount of support that I have for the position. I think I would be very
suitable for the job. Let me know how you all feel about this proposal.

Would anybody else wishing to take on this responsibility also put
their name forward. A selection from a group is always more acceptable
