    Andrew,

    Try:   dir TECO::SYS$PUBLIC:

You'll find everything you need there.

Copy the .bck file and V2.1 .exe to your own account, restore the backup
file, do an @ of the command file and run the baby. Play around and enjoy.
The V2.1 .exe is the latest version( I think ) and you should use this to
replace the .exe in the backup file.

As somebody said, Internet Tools is a good notes file for reading and
discovering the wonderful world of the WWW "World Wide Web"

    Regards,

    Peter.

Could someone try this WWW server. Everytime I try to access it I get
an error, something like "Timed-out server not responding". I did
notice that the "web" part of the name had changed to "www" when I was
browsing but even that didn't work.

    Thanks

    Paul.

I tried this site and was informed that it has moved to:
http://www.crg.cs.nott.ac.uk/~anb/Football/index.html
I was able to access it successfully with this URL.
As for your _timed-out server not responding_ errors: lots of possible
reasons can be advanced as to why it didn't work with you. There are
lots of problems with the Digital IP backbone that goes from Europe,
to the firewall, to the Internet proper, where the Sheff. Wed. page
lives. If any part of the route taken from your Workstation/terminal
to the page you want is down, then you will get either a time-out or
the very common:
_this information server either is not accessible or is refusing to
serve the document to you_
My only suggestion is to keep trying the page intermittently during
the day, or ask your local guru whether there is a WWW comms problem.
Check whether the predefined browser home page is accessible. If it
isn't, then you are almost guaranteed that there is a comms problem,
mostly likely in Reading which acts as a hub for European IP traffic.
The problems at Reading have been widely reported, but no permanent
solution has been found yet. I also advise that you do your WWWing
early in the morning, that is before our American cousins wake up and
clog the network :-).
Other interesting pages you can check out concerning football include:
http://web.nexor.co.uk/users/ajt/Leeds/Leeds.html (but of course)
and
http://www.dur.ac.uk/~dma1jas/premiership.html (looks very impressive)
Best wishes,
                          James.
