Well it was bound to happen...we seem to have
our Olympic athletes dress in western style
garb and now our soccer team follows suite:
The shirts are supposed to resemble blue
denim with red shorts. What's next? Cowboy
boots with studs? Guess its the hype for WC.

The new uniforms are a shameless marketing ploy.
Just when WC level soccer is starting to make it here, and many fans
have purchased "official" USA uniform pieces for themselves/their kids,
VIOLA! New and completely different ones.
The jersey you gave little Johnny is history. Here you go, sucker.
Buy another one.
I would have thought that familiarity with our "USA colors" was exactly
what USSA should have been striving for.
