| Well, if you want a Sassenach's opinion (and I'm sure you don't ;-)),
I'd suggest:
- Eddie Gray or Willie Johnston for Davy Cooper
- Billy Bremner (or perhaps Bruce Rioch) for Souness
- Peter Lorimer for Strachan
All very debatable (and dependent on playing style, etc.), I know. And
what about a certain Mr. Dalglish - sure, he rarely produced the goods
for Scotland, but he was one hell of a player...

| Probably the two best Scottish teams produced over the last 30 years
were the team that humbled England in 67 at Wembely & the team that
played against Brazil in the 74 World Cup in Germany.
Prior to that the team that narrowly missed qualifying for the World
Cup in Chile in 62.after a play off with CZECHOSLOVAKIA who went on
to beaten in either the semi-final or the final.
