    I'm sure there is a topic on the penalty shoot-out, I just couldn't
    find it.
    
    What do people think about a proposal that would substitute the penalty
    shoot-out with a corner shoot-out??
    
    Instead of taking 5 penalties each, try 5 corners each.  This would
    have the benfit of involving an entire team in the outcome of a game
    rather than an individual.
    
    I haven't thought through all the practical aspects (ie can the
    team taking a corner use their goalie as an extra attacker and when
    does the referee call the play dead), but I think it is worth a
    discussion topic!!
    
    Any thoughts??

    I don't think it'd work too well. You could find yourself taking 20
    penalties and still not scoring - unless you've got Andy Sinton on the line
    and Chris Woods in goal ;-)

    This would be detramental to Arsenal if they have David Seaman in goal.
    You could nutmeg him from the corner flag..

    Take off the two 'keepers and play on for five more minutes.
    
    This would also be detrimental to Arsenal as their back four ( five )
    would be standing 2 yards inside their own half, arms raised, leaving a 
    wide open goal.
