We tried distilling .PS files in my manager's office with the
same result as above. He's got Windows 95 and Acrobat 3.0.
           Any ideas?

I used to get this error when I used Windows File Manager to move PS files
from my VMS system to my PC and then run Distiller on them on the PC.
I overcame the error by using a DOS window to move the files with
qualifiers, such as:
    J:\> copy file2dis.ps /a c:\*.* /b
I forget what the /a and the /b switches do, but it worked.
