Help !
I bought myself a skateboard last year and need to adjust the trucks
and do something to the wheels to make them spin freely.
Does anyone know what I should be doing ? (I don't want to break it).
Any help appreciated.
Chris
PS. I can't find a skateboard conference and skateboarding can be
linked to boarding (snow).

Chris,
to adjust the trucks you just need to loosen the nut on the
kingpin to make them slacker and turn easier,or tighten the nut to make
them stiffer. If you still can't get them to turn the way you want you
can buy different hardnesses of rubbers for them. Also check and make
sure the rubbers haven't split , that can affect them too.
For the wheels just loosen the nut maybe half turn .If they still don't
spin freely the bearings could be goosed. They should be sealed bearings
so if any of the casing is missing so you can see the actual
ballbearings inside they are on their last legs .If you take them out
of the wheels and spin them you will be able to hear if there is any
grit in them which would also slow them down .
hope this helps .
