445.0. "what is "nogeo" in stars.databases" by STOSS1::DPROSE () Mon Apr 07 1997 14:24

    I pull a copy of stars.databases today and now when $tima stars is
    entered it complains about a keyword "nogeo"
    
    I removed it from all entries in my stars.databases and it appears to
    be ok. 
    Is this needed????

	The "nogeo" ([NO]GEOGRAPHY_CHECK) parameter is needed only if users add, delete, modify timastars articles (MSTARS) or timatools (MTOOLS) from your node. Without it, users may get a 'Modify/delete not allowed because of geography mismatch' error. You should upgrade STARS to version 2.6-4 on your node to make the "nogeo" error go away. You can get the STARS kit from NOETIC::SYS$KITS:[STARS]STARSU4026.*
