Sorry Co-noters, I got another silly question (and even more to come...)
I had a doubt while writing 1143.0, which version is right: "the result
*was* 2 but a hundred synonyms" or "the result *were* 2 but a hundred
synonyms"? Plural or singular form of the verb "be" should be used?
