I was working on a word game over the weekend, and ran into this:
in the course of the game, I was trying to anagram the letters in
MATRIARCHY into two shorter words. I came up with CHARITY/ARM.
I then noticed that ARM could just as easily have been MAR or RAM.
I them noticed that each of the three anagrams (ARM/RAM/MAR) begins
with a different letter.
Later, I encountered the word TIME. This is a four-letter example,
with each anagram beginning with one of the four letters, to wit:
TIME/ITEM/MITE/EMIT.
I'm sure there are others, in both three and four letter versions.
How about five and above?
