I once heard rumor of a study showing that the best punsters were also
the best programmers. I wasn't sure whether to believe it or not.
However, now we seem to have obtained some evidence to support that
conclusion. Although SERPs and TFSOs have disposed of only a fraction
of our digits, they have clearly had a disproportionate effect on the
number of famous, respected, competent engineers. Simultaneously, this
conference has undergone a disproportionate decrease in joyful content.
Any agreements? Disagreements?

Could it be that punsters (or contributors to this conference) are
being discriminated against? Abuse of puns or punning abuse is
dangerous for your job? Do we need badges saying "Baking my puns off in
this job", "Pundit or bandit? Who do you want in your computer
system?". Punners Liberation Movement? How can we fight back?

Well, it would be a flagrantly puniscious use of power to lay TFSO on the company's best punsters. Stuart | |||||

... whose P_N is "No Special Rights For Punsters!"
Hmpf. At least we should be accorded the right not to be TFSOed.
Or was that "the right not to be declared SERPerfluous?"
:-)
