Hello there,
I have been playing a game with friends, not very known in France (to
my knowledge): riddles.
I know of a few (3), and I would be willing to share more of these.
Now, I don't intend to have the people here working on solving a
riddle, although this might be a funny topic !
Basically, I would like to know about more. The ones I know are the
following:
"A man is pushing his car, stops by a hotel and gives money to his
friend"
"A man, in Paris, cuts his arm, sends it to a man in London, this man
forwards it to a guy in Manchester, that finally, throw it in the bin"
"A man gets out of his house, comes back, watches a stick, and commit
suicide"
The game is find the 'why' of each of these situations. Has anybody got
any other ?

There must be thousands of these 'riddles' - see the
DYO780::BRAIN_BOGGLERS conference.
Some others:
Man leaves apartment goes to ground floor and off to work.
On return gets in lift and travels to 12th floor then climbs the
stairs to his aprtment on the 17th floor. Why? On wet days, he travels
by lift to the 17th floor. Why
Man found dead with a piece of straw in his hand.
Man found dead in launderette with an octopus in his machine.
Man in hotel cannot sleep. Picks up phone and dial a number. Waits two
minutes, hangs up phone and goes off to sleep.

He is a midget. He cannot reach the elevator button for the 17th floor
where he lives, except on rainy days, when he is carrying an umberella

he was a balloonist in a balloon that was losing altitude. In order to
lighten the load, the crew drew straws... and the dead man lost.

Murdered by a jealous husband... the octopus was a decoy, as I recall

He is a(n) hotel. The person in the next room is snoring loudly and
keeping him awake. A phone call to the next room awakens the sleeper,
thereby allowing our man to get to sleep before the snoring restarts.
